Dear Vienna Families,
We are writing to share several staffing updates as we begin the new school year.
We are pleased to welcome Mr. Kostas Pnevmatikatos as our temporary Site Director. Mr. Kostas brings over 20 years of experience working with children and adults in the education field and he holds a PhD in Computer Science. He will oversee the day to day operations of the school beginning Tuesday, September 8th, with working hours from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM. He will support our community until we select a permanent director who meets both your standards and ours.
We would also like to share that Ms. Flor will be returning on Tuesday, September 8th as our Twos Lead Teacher. In addition, we will have a team member from our Alexandria location joining us to support Ms. Bhavya as we begin the new school year. Ms. Giovanna Lainez, who has been part of the Blue Bird family since 2018, will be assisting in the classroom. She has experience working with children ages 2 and up, and we are grateful for her support during this transition.
